INSIGNIAS OF THE ORDER

Collar of the Order of the Jerusalem Cross (Insignia of the Prince-Vicar). The collar consists of 24 silver links.

The Sovereign Knightly Order of the Jerusalem Cross has 5 classes.

1 class — (Baron of the Order). It is composed of an Insignia and a Star. The Insignia is a silver Jerusalem Cross enameled in black, with a border of white enamel on the edge. The top of the cross is attached to a pendant in the form of silver royal crown. Shall be worn on a neck moire ribbon of red colour. The Star is a silver eight-pointed with a black enameled Jerusalem Cross in the middle, with a border of white enamel on the edge. Shall be worn on the left side of the breast.

2 class — (Captain-Commander). The Insignia is a silver Jerusalem Cross enameled in black, with a border of white enamel on the edge. The top of the cross is attached to a pendant in the form of silver royal crown. Shall be worn on a neck moire ribbon of red colour.

3 class — (Commander). The Insignia is a silver Jerusalem Cross enameled in black, with a border of white enamel on the edge. The top of the cross is attached to a pendant in the form of silver oak leaves with swords. Shall be worn on a neck moire ribbon of red colour.

4 class — (Captain). The Insignia is a silver Jerusalem Cross enameled in black, with a border of white enamel on the edge. The top of the cross is attached to a pendant in the form of silver oak leaves. Shall be worn on a neck moire ribbon of red colour.

5 class — (Knight). The Insignia is a silver Jerusalem Cross enameled in black, with a border of white enamel on the edge. Shall be worn on a neck moire ribbon of red colour.

After the death of the knights, the insignia (the Star and the Cross) return to the Treasury of the Order.
