The coats of arms of any members joining the Order shall be unified from September 1, 2016. The unified Coat of Arms will be composed of the Order’s escutcheon bearing a Jerusalem cross on the background and a smaller escutcheon on the foreground bearing the private coat of arms. The top of the Order’s escutcheon will be decorated with a knight helmet bearing black and white mantling (color of the Jerusalem cross) covered with a noble crown, or a baron crown (depending on the title of its owner).
